• This policy provides cover for Hospitalization as a result of injury or disease. The policy has two options namely inpatient and outpatient.
  • The Inpatient covers hospitalization/admission in either in a Private room or General ward. It is mandatory you take the inpatient in a medical policy.
    • Inpatient care is the care of patients whose condition requires admission to a hospital. Patients are only admitted to a hospital when they are extremely ill or have severe physical trauma which requires close medical attention.
    • Outpatient hospital service is any type of medical or surgical care performed at a hospital that your doctor does not expect will require an overnight hospital stay. In some cases, you may stay overnight in the hospital, but not be admitted as an inpatient (this would be considered outpatient service)
